from tech recruiter to developer
I'm Georgie, a junior software engineer based just outside of
DC. I began my career as a recruiter pitching amazing
opportunities to talented developers. Ok, yeah I was a little
jealous, but what started as envy, morphed into intrigue until I
decided to finally do something about it. I rolled up my sleeves
and got my own hands dirty in some code.
I began learning in October 2021 and have completed SheCodes'
bootcamp covering HTML/CSS, Javascript, Responsive Web
Development, and React. I've also leveraged Scrimba,
CodeAcademy, and Free Code Bootcamp amongst many other resouces.
It's been an incredible ride and every bit of glass-chewing has
been worth it.
